Revive ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is a personal prayer, worship, and spiritual-practice tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Guest access: This release does not offer account creation or sign-in.
- Activity data: To power features like streaks, history, and calendar views, your device stores the practice sessions you log — activity type (prayer, worship, meditation, study, declarations), duration, and timestamps.
- Usage data: We may collect basic technical and usage information (such as app version, device type, and general usage patterns) to maintain and improve the App.
We do not require or collect payment information, and the App does not display third-party advertising.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to provide core app functionality (logging sessions, streaks, history, calendar), and maintain, secure, and improve the App. Journal entries are not uploaded for account syncing in this release.
How We Do Not Use Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your activity or account data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your logged activity is stored on your device and is not shared with other users by this release.
Alarm Notifications
In builds with AlarmKit, alarms are scheduled on your iPhone without sending the alarm time or a push identifier to OneSignal. You can manage alarm permission in iOS Settings and stop a ringing alarm using the system controls. In builds using push notifications, OneSignal receives this device's push subscription identifier, the alarm time, and a fixed alarm message so it can deliver the notification while the app is closed. Your journal entries and prayer points are not included. You can cancel an alarm in the app and manage notification permissions in your device settings.
Data Storage and Security
Your journal is stored locally on your device. Protect access to your device. Hosting and content providers may receive technical data needed to deliver the app and online content. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data Retention
Your local journal remains until you delete entries, clear app storage, or remove the app. It does not sync across devices and we cannot restore it from a cloud backup. If you used an account in an earlier version, contact us about previously stored account data.
Children's Privacy
Revive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Choices
You can edit or delete journal entries in the app. Contact us with questions about any data you previously provided to us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
